One has to wonder if the "inexperienced and naive" president of the USA might have something to do with this.

Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen said Friday she would be willing to meet her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping “for peace and stability.” The statement comes in the wake of a landmark summit between the leaders of the two Koreas. China is suspicious of Tsai’s traditionally pro-independence Democratic Progressive Party. Beijing has cut off official communications with Taipei as the Taiwanese president refuses to accept that the island is part of “one China,” AFP said. When asked on Friday if she would consider meeting Xi given the way the inter-Korean summit unfolded, Tsai said her government “would be willing to do anything that is helpful for… peace and stability.” A meeting with the Chinese leader could take place “without any political pre-condition and on an equal footing,” she added.

Not sure if all of these issues are good or bad, it all depends on how much influence China extends to Korea and Taiwan. Last thing the West needs are nations to help China in their fight against America, This is one reason I am cautious. Peace is one issue, of course I support, however what if China turns them into surrogates for their efforts to destroy the West?

The CIA need to be behind the scenes and working to influence the relationship.

They should see the Great Douche first...
