Surprise! Lack of demand forces airlines to cancel Cuba flights

Americans are backing off but Canadians and Europeans continue to visit. I guess they don't mind hotels with dirty linen, no hot water. Lack of service, and low grade meals. And, it appears Cubans living in the USA are afraid of what might happen if they go to visit.

On Monday, Denver-based Frontier Airlines said that it would cease its daily flight to Havana from Miami on June 4. The airline said costs in Havana significantly exceeded initial assumptions, “market conditions failed to materialize” and too much capacity had been allocated between Florida and Cuba.

I read blogs about Cuba every day and absolutely nothing has changed there since Obozo supposedly opened it up. Tourists are advised to stay in special areas to keep them from seeing the poverty and police brutality.
