The Supreme Court just showed everyone today what democracy is.

Until the supreme court rules against something you're for, then it's not democratic and only an actual democratic institution like the US Congress, which is run by elected officials who vote for or against legislation should be determining such issues. You would complain that SCOTUS is run by non-elected government officials who are appointed for life, until the day they die. That's democracy? Republicans pretend to be pro-democracy, until someone else is elected who they hate or a piece of legislation passes through Congress they object to.
