No. The medicaid expansion was struck and the penalties were struck. The medicaid exchange is unconstitutional and the feds may not withhold funds from a state if they do not offer expanded medicaid to the poor.

If you choose to not get government insurance, the plan was to fine people. Now they can't. There are no penalties.

The mandate isn't thrown out. I was watching the SCOTUS roll when they announced.

That was the first thing they upheld, which obviously why would they do that if they were going to toss the rest? I was tentatively optimistic at that point.

Yes. The SC struck it down under the Commerce Clause but they say it can stand as a tax.

The SC also stuck down the expansion of Medicaid which is a big part of Obamacare as far as funding for those without insurance.

The mandate now is constitutional but as a tax.
