Supreme court deems sales of ghost guns and similarly "gun kits" to be treated as sales of guns.

There are those among us who are murderers and thieves who rely on their guns to further their crimes.
“The 2nd Amendment permits “a well-regulated militia” to possess guns, not the general public.”

Second Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Only thieves ,
FA_Q2, and murderers would oppose this and from your posts you and I know which camp you sleep in, flees and all.

:)-
You can whine and moan all you want, the second does not say what you want it to, period. The wording itself disagrees with you - the right is retained by the people. The SCOTUS disagrees with you and has stated directly the right is not connected with being a militia member. The meaning of the word militia and well regulated in historical context even disagrees with you.

IOW, your opinion is based on nothing more than your imagination. Whatever bullshit you want to complain about with 'murderers' is just you realizing you have nothing to base your asinine opinion on.

A piece of metal which requires precision machining to become a receiver, but cannot currrently be used to assemble a working gun, is not a gun.
This assumes it requires precision machining. This is just not true. Gun kits can come with USB's that contain files to be printed or frames that only require a drill. Often times the tools are included.

If you have an STL for a lower and do not print it precisely, it may not work.
If you have an 80% lower and do not finish machine it precisely, it may not work.
If you do not machine it at all, it will not work, as such, it cannot be used to assemble a functional firearm.
Thus, the 80% lower is not a gun.

If I buy a firearm and it was manufactured improperly it will not work therefore they are all not guns...

This is not an argument. Try again.
