Study: one third of all manufacturing workers use welfare assistance

I think it is technology that gives birth to liberal ideas, because it is technology that shifts work off your own survival effort to some 3rd party, such as a machine, or a party that claims ownership of it. This is possible, because technology is not a one to one shifting of labor from man to machine, but more like a thousand to one, and soon no man will have a place left to try his own survival. That is where the liberal wisecracking comes in and you get socialism. Disgraceful.
Socialism has been around a long time in various forms. The Pilgrims tried it. The problem is it drives everything down to the lowest common denominator. Why try harder if your lazy neighbor gets the same treatment by mother government?

It's capitalism and the drive to invent, succeed, better yourself, push yourself, make a difference in the world that creates those machines, and yes, libs happily take the credit for any social change that it comes along.

Cut and paste error or spelling check? I meant no chance for the individual in a centralized system. ... Because a centralized system is a liberal hierarchy.

in any case you failed to say why you think "it is technology that gives birth to liberal ideas".

Well, yes and no. Jefferson was opposed to cities and factories and technology because of their tendency to make individuals a liberal collective, but then again the culture could just as easily say, in such a place, it's important to be an individual. Our Founders were for individual liberty not because they were from cities or countrysides but because they were good thinkers.
Yes. And they would certainly have not become good thinkers, had they grown up without economic assets, like pretty much everyone today. The Founding Fathers had their sharp minds defined by the availability of assets to them. Today, this would be impossible. For example, this is why everyone is a liberal idiot these days.

Is that what happened to you? Sorry, I could not help myself........Nah, I am not sorry.
Hehehe, take some time off one day and drive to a town where there is a college. You will only find sheeply idiots there, I am the only exception, and you won't find me.

No, the foundation of socialism is not a common denominator, but robbery. This the pilgrims didn't do. And the point stands, that the more centralized technology is, the faster socialism forms. Especially with the social engineering of birth rates, all created and enforced by centralized government administration. Capitalism may create the environment for it, but socialism defines its reality.

I think you need to read slower. I said the lowest common denominator is the results of socialism, not its' foundation or driving force. Capitalism doesn't create the environment for it, it creates an opportunity though once government gets control over the marketplace, as we've been doing.

But isn't it a fact, that the more advanced technology is, the harder it is to get access to it? For example, the prehistoric stone weapon was available to every man. The modern guns are a lot harder, but many can still buy it. However the newest weapon, the Internet and various networks, there is no chance for you to get ever into owning them, unless you are a very special entity, like Comcast or the US military, no individual can ever dream of it. This is how technolgy, life, all thinking, and emotions get centralized and centrally controlled.

The Founding Fathers had their sharp minds defined by the availability of assets to them.

no idea what you mean Founders Plato Aristotle etc had different assets but all think just fine!
They all head assets, as opposed to no assets. Whether they went to college or not, their ability to thinking was thereby assured. Today, there are many more students, almost everyone is or has been a student. Yet there is no thinking, and even basic science is dead or dying. This is all designed for the profits of those, who control the current global liberal hegemony.

Whether they went to college or not, their ability to thinking was thereby assured.

assured by what?????? Humans have a herd mentality like horses or monkeys so they are born liberal.
No, their mentality comes from where their assets come from. Speculants are herds. Welfare queens are herds. Landed gentry are not herds. The proverbial hunter is not herd. It depends.

Study: One-Third Of Manufacturing Workers Use Welfare Assistance

The study, conducted by the University of California, Berkeley, found that about one-third of manufacturing workers seek government assistance in the form of food stamps, healthcare subsidies, tax credits for the poor or other forms of welfare to offset low wages.

This amounts to about 2 million workers, and between 2009 and 2013, the cost for assisting these workers added up to $10.2 billion per year.

“The reality is the production jobs are increasingly coming to resemble fast-food or Walmart jobs,” Jacobs said.

By comparison, the number of fast-food workers who rely on public assistance is about 52 percent.

"I absolutely hate being on public assistance," she said. "You constantly have people judging you."

4 Men with 4 Very Different Incomes Open Up About the Lives They Can Afford

We need to legalize drunk driving. The carnage boosts GDP and a strong GDP encourages job creation. A strong job market encourages wage competition. Incomes rise. Ever since a bunch of mothers got together and went after drunk driving enhancements, the working class wages have been stagnant.

No, their mentality comes from where their assets come from. .
people on welfare, college professors, hedge fund billionaires in America are all likely to be liberals.
And they were also listed in my earlier herd conditions. Are you saying that the key to the future is to accept the herd then and kill off all others that don't? Sounds socialist indeed.

so people on welfare, college professors, hedge fund billionaires in America are all likely to be liberals and to be so because of where their assets came from?????????.

Okay, what is your theory?

You have to admit, Republicans denying the income gap is over the top.

Okay, what is your theory?

as I said there are too many liberals because we have:

1) a herd or communist mentality that is genetic

2) our genes encourage us to accept the communist "arguments"

3) our genes encourage us to deny the obvious, namely, that West Germany did better than East Germany

If it is genetic, then how do you explain that some of us fight against the communist? Isn't it possible then that socialism is a derivative of nationalistic tribalism?
