It amazes me how people direct their anger at the people trying to cross the border and not government. I know why, it's because it would cause people to get mad and place blame on people they voted for as neither status quo party gives a shit about border security.

Typically you see young teenagers trying to cross the border in hopes that they can work and send money back to their economically poor and often hungry families. Risking your life in hopes to make the lives of your family members better, yeah what a bunch of assholes.....................

The actual assholes are the ones we put in Washington, but we don't like pointing the finger at the mirror, we like pointing it at people from another country with another skin color. Somehow and for some reason that makes it easier for us to sleep at night.

You want to blame the government when people break the law? Like when someone use a gun to rob a bank, it's the government's fault?
I think there is some where in the bible that say we are born with the ability to know right from wrong and do what it right. Illegal aliens know when they cross the border illegal it is a crime but they have no respect for the rule of law and they are the blame, not me.
Poverty is not an excuse to break the law.

I blame government for not defending America as I already stated, such as the Constitution requires them to do.

If someone robs the White House, I'd blame gov't, that's a better comparison.

Right and wrong and committing crimes aren't the same thing. When I drove 75 mph this morning in a 65 mph zone I didn't feel one bit of guilt nor did I feel like an immoral person.

Open borders anyone? All of you who want ALL of the world to come here would be the first to scream foul!!! This country does NOT owe the world a 'good life'! They can strive for that life in their country! They just have to have the courage to go against their corrupt politicians! And good luck on that one! The United States does NOT have to be all to all people! AND THAT GOES FOR PEOPLE OF EVERY COLOR!!!!

I think the best way to teach these obvious Latino students about illegal immigration is to take them to visit Calerone and voice the concerns for 'humane" treatment of his citizens and why he is allowing them to cross the border illegally putting their lives and the live of children in danger.
Even write him letter if they cannot go. Calderone is helping them cross so don't blame US for Mexico's corruption and miss treatment of it's citizens.
Show these student both side of illegal immigration.

Fraid it would do absolutely no good to write La Raza a letter.

They're a left leaning group that romanticizes about the 1970's when they wore berets at protests and marched with Cesar Chavez (labor leader). They're under the illusion that the southwest U.S. was originally their territory, usually trying to include themselves (Mexicans) as indigenous.

But it was originally Native American land technically. Most of these Native American tribes own or draw from casinos through many states by banding together. They also tend to shy away from any relation to Mexicans. For most, their first language is English unfortunately (I say unfortunately, because I don't think their native language should be lost). But they are prospering and adapting, unlike the undocummented immigrants.

So, you'd be wasting your time.

Mexicans are taught that they can feed off of what others have done. They have been doing it for generations.
