Steele Says We Shouldn't Be In Afghanistan; Calls It Obama's War Of Choice

Where is the rule that says i need to just criticize one politician you stupid asshole? Just because you get called out for being stupid enough to post something like this trying to play if off like oh a democrat would NEVER be this stupid, don't expect me to play your reindeer games.

Steele is a fucking idiot and Pelosi is retarded and yet they BOTH have you beat in the brains department.

Well, this thread is about Steele. That's twice now you brought up Pelosi. Can't you just stay on topic one post? :)

Another strawman on your part though, my dislike for Pelosi on this board is well-known. Also, really, using the word "retarded"? Sad.

It is this President's choice. The wars now belong to him. It comes with the job. We'll see if he delivers on his promises to get us out of Afghanistan & Iraq by next year. I hope he does. I really do.

"This is not something the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in."

Yeah.

In the end i'm willing to give this President a break on this stuff. He promised to get us out of both nations by next year so i'll just take a 'wait and see' attitude on this. He will certainly gain a lot more support from me if does deliver. I'm not ready to criticize the guy too much on this right now. I'll wait and see what happens next year. If he goes back on his promises, you can bet i'll be the first one to criticize him. Steele's right in a sense but he's a bit premature. Lets wait till next year and see what happens.

"Keep in mind again, federal candidates, this was a war of Obama's choosing. This is not something the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in. Now take this soup back. It's cold and needs to be reheated."

is that supposed to be Dennis Franz from NYPD blue?

He's no smarter than Pelosi, what's your point?

Lay off the Stoopid Steroids for at least a week. When the RNC Chair tries to lay the Afghanistan occupation solely at Obushama's feet it's simply a naked display of partisan powdered intellectual dishonesty. Obushama has now owned the occupation so to continue it is his choice but to try and claim he's fully responsible and that it is an occupation the US never wanted is just nauseating dishonesty.

You've been living in your dream world so long you are obviously incapable of distinquishing between what the rest of us call facts and you call fantasy. My Party is fucked due to bullshit from dishonest hacks like Steele.

Are you claiming to be a Republican?

I've been a registered Republican my whole life but parasitic neocon/religious right fucks like you are fucking clueless so when you meet real Conservatives you get so flustered all you can do is scream "Liberal!" because that is your Sheeple Staple response to everything that confuses you.

Good job on trying to deflect on what.....your 3rd post? Lol......

The GOP faithful are missing the point. Michael Steele, the Chairman of your party is advocating an end to the Afganistan war. So, can we take this as the official postion of the Republican Party? Or should we wait for Beck to cry about it or Fatboy to drool over his cigar about it. Who is speaking for the Republican Party?

Steele needed to be fired 2 years ago. I don't see how he continues after this, RNC's desperate need for affirmative action notwithstanding

I would assume that it is the current "official position" of the Republican Party. If, however, by some miracle, a Republican were to win the White House in 2012 and we are still fighting in Afghanistan, as we will be, then the tune will change.

I can't believe Steele would say such a thing. It must mean he's a racist. Oh wait.

Personally i don't believe any politician from either party on getting us out of Afghanistan & Iraq. I just don't see us leaving Afghanistan or Iraq in the near future. Have we left South Korea yet? Both will likely become South Korea scenarios in the end. Most Americans are befuddled sheep at this point though. They'll believe anything. This President has gone out on a limb and promised to get us out of both Afghanistan & Iraq by next year though. I'm obviously very skeptical of these promises but i'm willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and wait till next year to see what happens. Steele was probably right but maybe a bit premature. 2011 will tell the real story.

You're whole life? So when you were a baby your family took you down and registered you as a Republican? LOL

You seriously are mentally damaged bro.

I'm a necon? LOL Do you even know what that term means? Obviously not, so let me help you out.

Neoconservatism is a right-wing political philosophy that emerged in the United States of America, and which supports using American economic and military power to bring liberalism, democracy, and human rights to other countries. Consequently the term is chiefly applicable to certain Americans and their strong supporters. In economics, unlike paleoconservatives and libertarians, neoconservatives are generally comfortable with a welfare state; and, while rhetorically supportive of free markets, they are willing to interfere for overriding social purposes.

A) I support bringing our troops home from all over the world and not interfering with other countries
B) Although I allow some compassion into my beliefs I am anti welfare state.

Religious right fuck? Ok, I AM semi religious , but I have never pushed my religious beliefs on anyone. In fact I rarely mention God unless it's specific to the thread.

And you are HARDLY conservative. In fact I have seen you called MANY things, but never conservative.

In fact you know , the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced I could make a case that Obama is a neocon.

this was a war of Obama's choosing.

Say what?

The video was very difficult to understand and the transcript did not give the entire presentation, but how does he lay this at President Obama's feet? Especially with a straight face?

Immie

It's easy. I can lay this at obie wan's feet. Remember his campaign speeches? "Afghanistan is a war worth fighting." Then instead of pulling the troops out he doubled down. It is his war and his choosing. The buck stops in his slippers.
