south carolina is a joke.

They aren't fake supporters. This is who they are. Wacked out nut jobs. That's all the support Paul can garner. I do believe he has some good ideas but all his supporters do is marginalize him with their ridiculous rhetoric.
You complain about ridiculous rhetoric out of one side of your mouth, then call people you don't even know "wacked out nut jobs" out of the other?!?!?

Mr. Pot, meet Ms. Kettle.

But but.... they are

This is off topic, but that is an adorable child! :eusa_angel:

Kind of like Paul supporters.... cute, but loud and obnoxious.

With all due respect, that's the game for them.

If you actually started to hit them with Paulisms they wouldn't have a freaking clue how to answer you.

Go ahead.

By all means, take a so called Paulite on this board and hit them with true libertarian thoughts.

Within two minutes they'll be shitting their diapers.

No, they're not.

They're just people who supported guys like Robert Taft and Barry Goldwater...Guys who scare the living shit out of the inside-the-beltway ruling class.

So they tear a page out of the progressive/socialist playbook of demonize, demagogue and exaggerate.

Same shit...Different flies.

I don't get pissed....But then I also understand that the GOP's favorite welfare program is the global warfare state.

I understand how scary it can be for the hopelessly dependent to lose their most beloved handout.

A joke? No. Just a more progressive state. They voted for McCain in 2008.

So now all the main candidates have a victory. The only one who doesn't is Paul. But I suppose we are still going to keep hearing how he is going to be President from people who dont truly understand the Constitution or Dr. Paul.

Not from me...I have no such illusions.

But if things keep going the way they are, the Paul delegates are going to have a shitload of sway at the RNC this summer, much to the consternation of the neocon establishment elites....Like Gingrich, Romeny and Santorum.

Only if they decide to take their ball and go home. (not voting)
A 3rd party will ensure an Obama victory..... we cant afford that man!

That's not how the process works.

I Dr. Paul gathers enough delegates, he will have a lot of bargaining power over the platform committee and with the potential nominee who wants those delegates.

This hasn't been about winning the nomination from day one.

I will say this and go away...

If Ron Paul gets the knod from the voters to run against Obama.... by some miracle.
He will have my vote with no questions asked.

Promise

Of course its been about the great delusion of winning. It's only changing now because his ultimate loss is becoming obvious. Once the convention is over whatever influence Paul had will most likely be a distant memory. His legacy may live on in congress but his power will end as abruptly as it began.

He's not going to win the nomination...This a certainty as, even though he's the #1 choice of 15%-25% of the primary voters, he's #2 on almost nobody's list.

His candidacy is all about moving the party and quite probably laying the groundwork for Rand.

Now I love me some Rand...!

I hope your right.

Oh yeah.... I said I would go away.

The only one deluded is you...Dr. Paul never had a prayer of winning the nomination.

But his vote totals have nearly doubled from the '08 effort...Little wonder the establishment elites and their lemming supporters are getting twitchy.
