Touche. I should have said "you can't say you support 'right to life' and still support this unjust, pre-emptive war in Iraq which has killed (by some estimates) a million innocent Iraqis."

The war was justified. See invasion of Kuwait. Call for help by Kuwait. Intervention by the US and other. Halting of hostilities with the stipulation of the cease-fire agreement. And the subsequent and continual violations of that cease-fire agreement.

I am a vet. I know war. I know what war can and does do. I do not like war. But avoiding war at all costs does nothing to deal with the evil in the world and does nothing in terms of our security. This war/action is justified and I am proud of this generation of my brother and sister soldiers who are doing their damnedest to complete it the right way. I am sad for those that have died, but they died with honor and in service to this country and the greater good.

By contrast, the anarchists that Reagan sent to Nicaragua (and secretly paid for by illegally selling weapons to Iran) can be defined as right-wing. It all depends on the type of government they are fighting.

No, it's a liberal thing. They also claim to the be party that champions the rights of women, minorities and children...yet the first to tear them apart and throw them to the wolves. The ones who want PC language...and who say the foulest and most bigoted things.

It's because they're hypocrites, with a desire to control those who they see as less important and valuable than themselves. They don't care what lies they have to tell to get that power.

Be careful who you call hypocrites. People on both sides are hypocrites and the right is quick to damn anyone to hell who isn't also on the right and quick to defend those on the right for the same things.

Case and point: The right has condemned teenage pregnancy, preached abstinence only and damned to hell any one who dares to be human and have sex out of wedlock. Palin's daught is 17, pregnant, unmarried, and clearly not abstinent and the GOP has responded with "well they are just like any other American family". So, does this mean that teenage pregnancy and sex before marriage are now no longer the root of all evil and a sign of the fall of wholesome American family values? Whew, what a relief!

Case and point: Barack Obama doesn't have enough experience, but Palin's experience as the mayor of a town of 9000 people, and governor of a state with a population smaller than that of the city of San Francisco is qualified to be 1 step from the oval office? Karl Rove, that idiot, said that she was "mayor of the second largest city in Alaska". First of all, that means nothing. Secondly, Wasilla is bigger than Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Eagle River? Not true!

I could go on but the list would be so long that no one would read it and those of you on the right wouldn't want to anyway. No one likes it with the truth comes back and kicks you in your own ass.

Oh yes, the hypocrisy runs deep on the right. Self righteousness is inherent on that side of the field.
