Yeah, this guy rocks. told my kid in Iraq about the 138 degree thing. He thought that was pretty funny.

I watched a show a couple of years ago about 'Tent City' and they were interviewing him. I thought it was awesome. This man rocks!!!:D

damn that was funny! he tells it like it is and that is exactly how a jail should be run as long as the inmates stay hydrated in that heat (water only, no sodas or coffee)

Blacks and hispanics make up about 70% of the prison population and are only 25% of the public population.

Without blacks and hispanics 80% of ALL crime would be eliminated in the U.S.

Not surprised by that one! That's why I live in a small rural community. Not saying there are no blacks where I live there are i believe 1 or 2 families, but in the elem. school that my sons attend there is around 700 children and 1 of them is black the rest are white.

This aint about Maricopa county, but I saw something pretty cool the other day.

In Anson Texas (part of Jones County) if a teenager is caught drinking alcohol; They parade around the courthouse, which is centered on the small town. They are wearing black and white stripes ala the old time jail uniforms. They carry a placard saying "Anson Underage Drinker". Pretty neat huh?

I have to say,it sounds like a great deterrent ,so maybe they will behave when they get out. This is a good thing, tax dollars should not be spent on cable t.v. for prisoners. I think they should consider themselves lucky that they are outside and not locked in a tiny cell.

Damm, In your state of Texas, blacks are 11% of the public population, but are 44% of the prison population, and hispanics are 25% of the prison population.

Blacks and hispanics are 70% of the prison population in Texas.

I think Big D's running a bot. Either that, or the web site he's cutting and pasting the statistics he's posting prints them like that.

Anyway, this is a good idea. Instead of spending money to keep criminals in jail for 20 years, we should put them in jail for 2 years and make it seem like 20. That's rehabilitation.

Great way to turn the accomplishments of a man with sense into a great racial finger-pointing contest.

Actually it is NO "contest" without blacks and hispanics there would barely be a need for any prisons in the U.S.

Without blacks and hispanics we would not need 70% of are prisons, and just think of the millions of people that would not be victims of so many brutal crimes.

Anyways check out who's in the prisons of your great state of Alaska:

The point is, you took the thread of someones accomplishments and played the race card.Racism will never end as long as people continue to point fingers and degrade.
