Democratic candidates for the 2020 nomination have promised more than $210 trillion in new spending across the field. Of the 26 declared candidates—including Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.) who dropped out earlier this month—most have put enormous new government programs front and center in their campaigns. Totaling up these proposals gives taxpaying voters a sense of the budget priorities of the average Democratic candidate.
That total includes cost estimates for deficit-exploding agendas proposed by other Democrats as well, such as AOC. Estimates for her 'Green New Deal' - which calls for stopping use of fossil fuels, building solar-powered trains to eliminate the need for air travel, and a war on cow flatulence - has been estimated to have a cost of approximately $90+ to Trillion dollars.
"Of the $210 trillion, the plurality—$94 trillion—is the estimated cost of a Green New Deal, which a number of candidates have backed in some form or another. The remaining $116 trillion—roughly six times the United States's annual Gross Domestic Product—is spread across a variety of policy proposals, from Andrew Yang's Universal Basic Income to Marianne Williamson's call for $200 to $500 billion in reparations for slavery."
The $200+ Trillion also doesn't count the cost on tax payers of the approximate 22+ million illegals already country and the cost of caring for illegals in the US Democrat-facilitated on-going illegal invasion, approx. $60,000 illegals entering the US every month.
The Democrats and their liberal propaganda-pushing media recently attacked President Trump for the $1+ Trillion dollar deficit expected this year, but they failed to mention Nancy Pelosi and Democrats have controlled the House - and therefore the budget and the nation's spending during this time....not to mention all of the above they want to pile on.
So can we finally raise the 'BS' flag and admit the Democrats don't give a damn about the deficit or adding to it, as they have made clear they want / intend to do if they win the WH in 2020?
