The topic of women seems to be, "Who cares, move on, why are they so attention hungry!"

The new gay topic seems to be, "Who cares, move on, why are they so attention hungry!"

And the black topic, as I just saw on a thread about Ferguson....you guessed it....

"Who cares, move on, why are they so attention hungry!"

Strange how oppressed people need to do extraordinary things to get attention.....even stranger how the ones that use to oppress these people are sick of "all the attention they are getting" within weeks/months.....

These people were oppressed for centuries..........your perspective of intolerating their fight for freedom is a joke. People oppressed gays for centuries and Michael Sam get's headlines for a month, within a month people are saying, "Gays are annoying, they just want attention".........

Obviously laws man made against gays aka OPPRESSION is why the gays were striving so hard to get attention. If gays were just equal they wouldn't get news coverage...........

It's not attention homo's are seeking, it's acceptance they're seeking.

Since average life expectancy is less than 100 years, very few people have been "oppressed for centuries." Exactly how do past events give excuse to current actions? Are these "oppressed people" supposed to be accorded special treatment as if they are mentally disabled or emotionally disturbed?

Please specify the exact nature of their oppression without resorting to name calling.
