So the marines are used to hold Umbrellas for Obama

I notice that the Marine holding the umbrella is a Cpl. and judging by the two medals he doesn't have any combat experience. I pity him in his next duty assignment if he makes a career out of the Marines he will always be the guy holding the umbrella.
