Demonstrative presentations of consumption-outlandish folk-mythos 'avatars' such as Wendigo and Video-Man symbolize humanity's assessment of population-based consumer analysis.
Here's a folk-oriented vignette I cooked up about Lord Ravana kidnapping the deity-like damsel Sita from the arms of protective god-husband Ram and taking her to his lair for experiments in consumerism cynicism (including meditation on cannibalism!). The encounter and their conversation draws up intriguing thoughts about metaphysical connections between survivalism and primalism and if consumerism-energized modernism activities such as Facebook comprise one form of 'juvenile gluttony.'
So is Melania Trump Sita or Wendigo?

Lord Ravana kidnapped Sita and took her to his fortress where they toyed around with the carnal pleasures of experimenting with the infinite gluttony of the tactile sense. Sita's husband Ram was enraged and claimed that if his morally-vulnerable wife succumbed to the temptations laid out before her by the cunning Ravana, he would officially declare both Ravana and Sita as cannibals (or Wendigos!). When Ram discovered that Sita had indeed broken every law of the carnality-ethics manual the Kama Sutra, he divorced her and declared she would have to prove her innocence of cannibalism in a special public trial-by-fire on Facebook.
Sita accepted the challenge and declared that if she was able to absolve herself and Lord Ravana of the Wendigo-charges, Ram would have to publicly state that his own chauvinistic pride created a mishandling of justice and that Ravana deserved remuneration. Ram swallowed the bitter pill of pride when he lost the wager to Sita (since it was impossible to prove any anti-social intention towards cannibalism without any verifiable evidence of pure anti-human malice) and declared in public he was out-shined by Ravana and Sita and wondered how he could win Sita's heart. Ram resolved to take Sita to a special Women's Rights Symposium about females in the work-force hosted by First Lady Melania Trump.
