FYI, none other than Bernie Sanders has said that the U-6 is the most accurate measurement of the employment situation. He made this point several times during the 2016 primary.

But you think Sanders is an idiot so what do you care what he thinks.

With the US essentially at full employment, job creation is moot. And is way lower than it was under Obama despite the double goosing of tax cuts and massive deficit spending.

Wages are still stagnant and Trump promised he’d address this. He said ever American worker would get a $4000 raise from corporate tax cuts. That was a lie.
