The USA was nearly totally helpless when North Korea conquered the South of Korea with Russian tanks and Russian intelligence under the leadership of the communists of China and North Korea. It was a damned cruel disaster - specially for civilians too. The USA had no other chance than to go in war again only a few years after world war 2. And now the former ally, whose ass had been saved from the USA, was suddenly an enemy.
