Silken Windhound

There was a woman at the beach running her 5 Whippets and a Silken Windhound. What an amazing sight. The solid white Silken was such a beautiful and friendly dog. I wished I took a video of them running, especially the Silken.

BTW, the Silken is bred from a Russian Wolfhound and a Whippet

Saluki are more often seen over here -- taller and heavier typically than a Silken .
I used to trial in greyhounds against Salukis many years ago on unlicensed tracks .
Greyhounds are faster, but give Salukis a handicap start and they were a beautiful sight in full flow , if muzzled to stop them "fighting" an overtaking greyhound .
