Just wondering if anyone wants to get rid of that socialist policy of limiting working hours/mandating extra pay for overtime. I'm sure that none of you (I assume that some of y'all are productive members of society) would mind working 12 or 14 hours for the same pay, right?

The US has one of the most worker friendly 8 hour laws out there.

Would you like to debate actual policies argued?

Your posts resemble some really stupid game.

Why stop there? Why not get rid of worker safety laws, weekends, workers comp, minimum wage and everything else the wingnuts bitch about. In fact, let's get rid of child labor laws. Why shouldn't your 6 year old be put to work in a factory instead of wasting time in a school room?

Why did you cut and paste the Libertarian Party Platform?

Why should workers be compensated at all?

Isn't getting up every day and working a job enough satisfaction and appreciation for those that make your very existence possible?

The American worker is the laziest worker out there. Even France does more by 9am than America does all day.

Not for me...

But, then again, I work for you people and y'all are a bunch of ingrates.

I'd like to abolish offices and work from home.

Bullshit!

I used to work for a small, entrepreneurial company which worked us hard and then compensated us pretty well at the end of the year ass-u-me-ing the owner made money. (He usually did quite well and we usually had a GREAT Christmas)

Unfortunately he got an offer he couldn't refuse from a Swedish conglomerate and the end of year bonuses retreated faster than the French army. Adding insult to injury, those blond, Euro-trash bastards took every summer off, making business pretty close to impossible to conduct from May through September and then they bitched about our numbers being low during their vacation.

Kind of a trick if you work in retail, but I like it!

What if one actually does site-specific labor?

I work from home three days a week. Go to the office two days a week.

They let me work from home when the weather is bad or if I need to be here for some reason but I would love to all the time.

Then they have to go. :)
