sharpton and jackson on their way to florida...

That racist needs to get the death penalty for this.

He should fry.

And quite a few of those so-called authorities in Sanford need to lose their jobs.

This shooting and subsequent police non-action is an actual case of real racism so Jackson and Sharpton need to back the fuck off of it. All they do here is play right into the racists' hands and damage the universally perceived credibility of the victim's family's claims. If Jackson and Sharpton have any genuine concern for justice here, they'll do the right thing and let qualified legitimate professionals who aren't generally known as race-baiting trolls handle this horrible situation.

Imbalance, if you truly cared about getting to the bottom of this, you would be supporting Al and Jackson. They are bringing much needed attention to this case and your opinion of them does not matter.

I am always very skeptical of accusations of racism and hate-crimes, and I'll be honest I initially thought this story was liberal media race-baiting when I first saw the headline yesterday. But as I actually read the facts I realized I couldn't have been more wrong and I personally felt bad about my initial internal reaction. People get murdered every day but when the police operate from the very beginning as if they are defense counsel for the murderer, and this goes on for a month with no state intervention, I begin to wonder what hurts the family's heart more right now -- the loss of their loved one or the loud and clear message from local authorities that his young life isn't worth even the minimal standard operating procedure after a homicide. How can this family feel that their community is anything but racist and hateful?

I just hope they can soon know that the world cares about their loss.

Welcome to the world of being black in America.

I'm not saying it's right what effect they could have, I'm saying what it would likely be. Right or wrong, their attention always brings with it much negative attention. It may have been worth it prior to this week but the mainstream media has now picked up on this story and people everywhere of all races and political leanings are disturbed by it.

A supreme court justice said about pornography "I know it when I see it." I think the same can be said about racism in a lot of cases and definitely in this one. Everyone knows what happened here. I just don't think the family needs the Jackson/Sharpton sideshow and negativity right now.

The boy's family was on Sharpton's show last week...asking him to bring publicity to this story.

That he did.

This story has been going on in certain circles for over a week, two weeks now.

It's just now getting proper nation-wide attention, thanks to the efforts of Al Sharpton and others.

I stand corrected. In this case I sincerely applaud Sharpton, even if I still often question his motives.

this has become a significant world story band is being highly touted by cnn..

revs jesse jackson and sharpton are both going to florida amidst crys of foul by the local communities. neither have been available for comment...

Rev. Al Sharpton: Why race matters in the Trayvon Martin tragedy

Florida Today: Where is Jackson, Sharpton now?

Tangerine, Florida

Both will do anything for publicity...

Duke Lacrosse, Jenna 6... Obama is loving it.

It's their goal to pit black against white - and this killer is a fucking Hispanic....

Given what I know about the case - this idiot was a wanna b cop......

A vigilante...

I don't know how, or why the victim decided to walk through an alleged "gated community" - usually there is only one way in and one way out - a safe haven - a prison of choice.

Jackson should be looking into the 41 shootings in his hometown this past weekend. It seems that 10 murders including a 6 year old girl would keep him busy enough.

Was probably black on black deaths. He's not interested in those.

Pay attention. The boy's reason for being there has been WIDELY reported. The fact that you don't know pretty much signals that you don't have enough info to even comment on the matter.

These things happen sometimes when locals don't get it right... or appear to not get it right. There was a case last summer, Kelly Thomas, a guy beaten to death by Fullerton, CA police. If not for a public out cry and international attention, a couple guys would have walked away from beating a guy to death. Even with witnesses and camera rolling. Looks like this thing was on it's way to being swept under the rug also. Jackson and Sharpton are not people I care for much at all, but if it helps get justice for a young man shot and killed for no good reason, good deal, IMO.

In this particular case, "justice", as defined by certain folks, will be served only when Zimmerman is skinned alive...

No it won't.

It will be served when Zimmerman has a fair trail and is judged by a jury of his peers.

Sharpton has been much more responsible since leaving prison. Jackson? Not so much.

If you live in Floridastan ,strap a bucket of KFC or a watermelon to your front bumper and drive considerably faster than you normally would.
Trolling is the best way to get The Big Ones.

Where were they all last year when black were beating on whites at concerts, fairs and other gatherings and lets not forget all the black flash mobs that were robbing stores on a daily basis. Nothing unfair here.

You'll be declared as an anti Negrite and put on the no fly list ( like me).
Go raise your flag. It's sunup. Walmart has some weather proof ones made by child slaves in Bangladesh. They come with a Ginsu knife.
