It appears more and more advocates are trying to introduce Sharia into the US legal system. Fortunately, it appears that appeals courts are turning them away. It is, however, a sign of the incessant efforts of Muslim legal scholars to try to expand the authority of their beliefs on our American system of jurisprudence.

Where does it say in the Constitution that a state could not put Sharia Law in place?

That seems to be the OP's point ... creeping Sharia. The question raised is: do we want a Sharia kind of America?

It is sickening to observe all these politically correct morons, bleeding hearts.....all over the place.

Defending the indefensible, excusing the inexcusable......

Ignorant cowards!!

Ummmm, that's specifically what was referenced in that old "separation of church and state" thingy. Are you really this dense?

And a WordPress blog? Are you fucking kidding? Why not just give a few links to news articles about this so-called incursion

Why do they consistently misspell Shari as Shariah when even their graphic has it as Sharia? Legitimacy and credibility of your source goes into the camel toilet, and as far as the center for security policy goes -- pfft!

Do you doubt the existence of creeping Sharia? Do you doubt there are those in America dedicated to just such an America?

Not all aspects of sharia are about religion
The law is all based on religious precepts, thus it most certainly is relevant.
So if a religion has a rule about something a similar secular law is forbidden?

Sharia is administered by Imams. Who are they again?

"Sharia law is the law of Islam. The Sharia (also spelled Shariah or Shari'a) law is cast from the actions and words of Muhammad, which are called "Sunnah," and the Quran, which he authored.
The Sharia law itself cannot be altered, but the interpretation of the Sharia law, called "figh," by imams is given some leeway.

As a legal system, the Sharia law covers a very wide range of topics. While other legal codes deal primarily with public behavior, Sharia law covers public behavior, private behavior and private beliefs. Of all legal systems in the world today, Islam's Sharia law is the most intrusive and strict, especially against women."

I'm sure it's possible to find some. Just because a few people are dedicated to something doesn't exactly make it a national threat.

People all over the country are dedicated to all sorts of nonsense ... mirror :cuckoo:
