He said U.S. Muslims do not want the U.S. to adopt Sharia criminal law, with its harsh punishments such as amputation of a hand for stealing or stoning for adultery.

It seems American Muslims would be ok with marital rape, pedophilia, and polygamy, but beheadings and stoning, not so much. Good to know.

And I do not think that Nuredin Giayash speaks for all American Muslims. However, he/she is a principal of an Islamic school. Is that what they are teaching in Tulsa?
