Serious question...will Trump secure the election for Hillary (or Bern)

Here's why Trump could win. Because we live in a society that confuses celebrity with merit.

Most Americans can't tell you the difference between Supply Side and Keynesian economics, but they can tell you how the Immunity Challenge on Survivor works.

They can't name the Justices on the Supreme Court, but they can tell you who the judges on American Idol is.

They can't name their Senator or their Congressman, but they can tell you who is on the Bachelor this season.

The point is, millions of people watched Donald Trump every week doing a fake business game show with marginal celebrities. Few people watch C-Span.

And why I think the guy is pretty much a Nazi, there are things he says I agree with. I agree with him that Free Trade has been a steaming shit sandwich for the working class in this country. and when they look at politicians who have been bought and paid for by Soros and Koch, what Trump says resonates.

I can't disagree with most of this, joe.

Bush spent 5.849 Trillion in debt over his 8 years. Obama will have spent around 10 trillion in his 8 years.

I think your Math is kind of off.

Okay-

National Debt when Bush took office.

5,807,463,412,200.06

When he left.

11,909,829,003,511.75

He more than doubled it.

Where it is now.

18,825,061,664,535.94

Now, keep in mind, most of the bad numbers were things Bush baked into the pie- his tax cuts for rich people, his wars, his recession. Things Obama couldn't change right away.

Why do you guy only care about deficits when the other guy is in office?

It was 10.6 trillion when Bush left and he added 4.9 trillion to the debt while fighting 2 wars. When Obama leaves it will be 20 trillion. It is you who can't do the math.

You like placing the blame on a Republican but who caused the housing crisis. Yet you don't blame Clinton now do you.

Obama will have doubled the debt increase of Bush. So much for your stupid assed idea that we only care when it's not our guy as you don't give a shit about it with the current administration and will even try to deflect the blame when it was you douchebags who set the crash in motion.

Trump vs Sanders would be fun to watch play out.

Trump vs Clinton isn't going to happen because she be goin' under* The Democrat Party bus at their convention and there's not a damn thing she can do prevent it.

Democrats have a deep and powerful culture on that as history as shown.

*See, I, too can do mock-negro dialect - just like ol' Shrillaryl

Actually, it was closer to 12 Trillion, because FY 2009 was approved under Bush's watch, not Obama's.

But given that Bush's tax cuts and wars are the drivers of the debt, (most sensible presidents RAISE taxes to pay for wars and keep them high for a decade afterwards to pay off the war debts) it's kind of hard to pin that on Obama. When the tax cuts for the rich expired and Obama wound down Bush's wars, guess what, the deficit shrank. JEsus be praised!!!!

No, I don't blame Clinton for Bush staffing the SEC with porn-watching cronies who weren't keeping an eye on the banks when they were selling those garbage sub-prime mortgages as "investments".

Thanks for proving that you are as hypocritical as most libs. The sub-prime mortgage crisis was directly caused by Clinton when he dismantled the banking regulators and directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give loans to people who were not traditionally qualified. You want to blame Bush for not following regulations that were no longer in existence because of Clinton.

You again have no reality because you fools pushed so hard for these people to have home ownership that you would have yelled racism had the government done anything at the time to slow the growth of these types of loans.

You prove once again that you want you cake and want to eat it too.

The regulations that were in place were perfectly fine, IF they were being enforced.

The problem was Bush didn't want to enforce them. the "housing boom" of the oughts was the only bright spot of Bush's economy, while the country was hemorrhaging manufacturing jobs.

Furthermore, the problem was not "Freddie and Fannie" giving loans to poor people. The problem was traditional banks giving loans to middle class people buying "McMansions" they hoped to flip in a few years. So we had a huge building boom out where I live where a lot of these homes are STILL vacant or half-completed.

but the mortgages themselves wasn't the problem. The real problem was that these banks were taking these questionable, unsecured mortgages and selling them as investments. All it took was for someone to yell, "The Emperor has no clothes" and that was it.

Okay, now that we are done trying to blame Clinton for what a total fuckup Bush was, let's see what else you've got.

You again have no reality because you fools pushed so hard for these people to have home ownership that you would have yelled racism had the government done anything at the time to slow the growth of these types of loans.

Who wanted minorities to own their own homes?
