Yes, there have been many infectious diseases that have been successfully eradicated from the United States. A long painful process that is not exactly filled with stories of fantasies or wishful thinking.
The long painful process of eradicating these diseases from our nation in many ways has made us a first world nation. Yes, those three actions are what is necessary.
Yes, any sane nation would not allow an obviously infected person into their country. When an infectious disease does rise, it is IMPERATIVE that the person is separated, isolated and quarantined. This is really not about politics, but unfortunately we have turned this into politics.
THERE IS NO RATIONAL REASON other than POLITICS for this president NOT to ban flights along with VISAS from those countries that are carrying this insidious INFECTIOUS disease. Not one RATIONAL REASON.
We need to ISOLATE the disease, and separate US from the INFECTED. Not just "hope" and "wish" that it is contained as we play Russian roulette with our citizens for political gain.
That is precisely what is happening with our pathetic open door policy, and according to the CDC there are many diseases that have been reintroduced into our society that have not been here in DECADES. INCLUDING EBOLA, WHICH HAD NEVER BEEN ON AMERICAN SOIL.
DECADES!!!
Most of which coincide with the MASS influx of the ILLEGAL immigration. The pathetic commander in chief, in order to placate his ignorant base in this crucial election year (one month away) will not do the right thing.
As a result, all of the massive work we did to eradicate those infectious diseases is being decimated. All for the political gain this November.
It is pathetic, it is criminal. Any disgusting liberal that defends these actions are worthless enemies to this country. Then again, that is nothing new.
What a fucking world we live in, where we have to share the same air with such ignorant stupidity.
