Poor parents were stuck; the GOP's agenda is much different, it allows all parents to receive a subsidy to sending their child to a private school, unspoken but most likely a religious school (hence Pence's support for her conformation) or a for profit school not bothered by unions, required credentials or school boards.

Thus able to compensate the ownership and management while hiring less educated, less qualified and easily manipulated teachers. One need only look to the Alberto Gonzales and Monica Goodling's efforts in the DOJ to understand the danger of this conformation and Pence's Agenda ("I'm a Christian First ....").

Yeah...and no. Competition creates better schools, the government monopoly on K-12 education has destroyed lives. School Vouchers are no different from the G.I. Bill.....allowing parents to pick their kids schools will make every school better as they have to compete for those education dollars, and the parents will be the ones pushing schools to get better....as opposed to school boards and teachers unions who control it now.

Numb Nuts......if a school sucks, the parents can simply pull their kids and go to a better school...and there will be more schools, of better quality because of this....right now..if your kid goes to a Chicago public school...they are stuck...unless you uproot your family and buy a new home somewhere else.....moron.

Yes...it is so much better to trap poor and minority children in schools that don't teach them to read, or do math....so much better........but, the democrats will get their money from the teachers unions.....there is that upside..right?
