Illegal immigration is at all time HIGHS, not lows, and that's without considering the CARAVAN situation. All one has to do to see the emergency of it, is look at the caravans.

Illegal Immigration By Families Hits All-Time Record In September

MANUFACTURED CRISIS? Border Arrests SURGE 84% from Same Time Last Year | Sean Hannity

Oh yeah, Gosh, it's been "46 years" since there were this few migrants trying to get into the US illegally, right ? The FAKE NEWS is getting faker and faker every day.

Does THIS look like a reduction ?

The number of apprehensions taking place along the porous US-Mexico border soared in January 2019; rising 84% from the same period last year as multiple ‘migrant caravans’ stalled in Tijuana, Mexico.

“January saw a surprise surge of 22,000 more apprehensions of illegal immigrants at Southwest border crossings over January 2018, prompting a key predictor to suggest that border officers will make over 600,000 apprehensions this year,” writes the Washington Examiner.

That statistics represent an 84% spike in detentions.

The report comes as 16 U.S. states sued the Trump administration over his “national emergency” declaration; effectively blocking the President’s proposed border wall funding until it reaches the Supreme Court.

Read the full report at the Washington Examiner.

Congress said No , you can't claim an emergency and don't have the intelligence to make an argument for your case. This isn't Trump tower and he no longer has Cohen to fix things for him

Border security can mean more than a wall there are other ways

I know its hard to take no for an answer, but NO means NO

National security can encompass other things than a wall

It can be achieved in other ways other than a wall

A wall can be climbed over, you can go underneath it, you can take a boat or plane

even a dog can climb a fence

Whatever it my "sound" like is moot, because stopping tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands more over time) is not a "project" of ANY kind. It is doing the #1 job of the US presidency. Defending America from foreign invasion, by whoever may be the invaders, and for whatever reason.

Plus although apprehensions are way UP in the 2 years that your meaningless chart fails to show, all that's necessary to see to know the emergency level of this emergency is this >>

You're missing the point (As CNN has undoubtedly directed you to do).

The wall does 2 things about land invaders (it's not intended to stop boats and planes - that is left up to other govt workers)

    1. It stops women and children from just running across an open border.

    2. It SLOWS men invaders down, giving the Border patrol SUVs time to get to the them and apprehend. Talk to the Border Patrol. They'll explain it to you.

    3. No dog is going to get over this wall. Cats maybe.

The fact that the New Zealand shooter mentioned an invasion to his country, doesn't mean that his country is not being invaded. if it is, it is, regardless of whether that guy is shooting people, or picking daisies.

And whatever Trump's family did many decades ago is moot relative to America's immigration and invasion problem in 2019. You're presenting very weak "arguments", if they can even be called that.
