    Senate sends repeal of hated tax provision to Obama
    April 5, 2011 -- The Senate voted Tuesday to repeal a part of the health care reform law that would require businesses to file a 1099 tax form with the government for every purchase they make over $600.

    While I am not thrilled with the health legislation, I said it was a starting point and they could work out the kinks and just bad parts of it over time. This is the first step. They don't have to start from scratch necessarily.
