Whites need to start doing the same thing.

Safe Spaces Segregate the Claremont Colleges | The Claremont Independent

nov 17 2015 In the wake of last week’s protests and resignations at Claremont McKenna College (CMC), “safe spaces” for students of marginalized identities are popping up all over the campuses of the Claremont Colleges. After protestors called for action, CMC President Hiram Chodosh stated his commitment to providing a permanent safe space for students of color in the near future. Until then, the Associated Students of Claremont McKenna College (ASCMC) have dedicated part of their office as a safe space for these students.

Safe spaces for minority students have appeared on the campuses of other Claremont Colleges as well. Last week, the Motley Coffeehouse at Scripps College issued a statement on its officialFacebook page, “The Motley sitting room will be open tonight from 6-10 only for people of color and allies that they invite. Please feel free to come and use the space for whatever you need – decompress, discuss, grieve, plan, support each other, etc. In solidarity.”

If we would get smart and have colleges teach STEM only, we wouldn't even have this problem. Blacks can't do tech and need all the silly and easy liberal arts courses like sociology and black studies. Without that crap they wouldn't even go to college.

They have all black colleges. Entire campuses. Wonder why they don't just go there...

Black protests are about two things - more welfare and more affirmative action. Last thing blacks want is equal treatment. They need and want special treatment.

Someone should post a sign over the drinking fountain

Reserved for blacks only. Whites prohibited.

And I wonder who keeps pushing/suggesting these segregationist policies/ideas. I don't know of many conservatives running campuses these days. Reminds me of the days of ole.

Yes whites need to follow suit, especially as the Black Lives Matter psychopaths are getting more deranged.

White students are in danger these days, the outrageous thug behaviour at Dartmouth College, in the library the latest example of out of control blacks harassing whites.

These lunatics need to start being arrested.

Since I have been paying attention to the world, blacks have never protested for equal treatment. Like you said, just handouts. No joke.

There's nothing as racist as Affirmative Action. People should be admitted on merit, not because they're black.

If it wasn't for Affirmative Action, and them getting special treatment, even more of them would be on welfare because the majority are unable to get anywhere on merit.

It's tough to get good job when you can't read or count or even tell time.

"Segregation is back as Claremont College designates "black only" areas"

Your ignorance is exceeded only by your stupidity.

The Claremont Colleges consortium is a private educational institution, and as a private entity it is not subject to the 14th Amendment jurisprudence prohibiting segregation – consequently the idiotic premise of your thread fails, as private individuals are at liberty in the context of a private organization to freely associate as they wish, with whomever they wish – where such an association in no way constitutes 'segregation.'

So it would be ok with you if they banned blacks from the school? THINK
