Second rape in Zuchotti park OWS won't call police

that is four rapes per ten thousand people.

There can be a case made that FEWER rapes have occured due to the people being there.

And there were some people using the same "logical" to "justify" the deaths of American soldiers in Iraq. It's specious logic.

And absurd to use it.

I am not justifying the rape.

Grow up.

I am pointing out that rape occurs very freqently in this society.

FAR TOO OFTEN!!!!

Pretending these women shouldnt be there because they might get raped has been a tacitc used by people who have tried to keep women social prisoners for 100s of years.

has anybody said this so far?....point it out i must have missed it.....

DOWNTOWN — Police arrested one man and are looking for two others who allegedly threatened a woman in Zucotti Park Monday after she was assaulted in the plaza by one of their friends.

Police arrested Hasan Castillo, 23, of East Orange, N.J. on Tuesday, and charged with intimidating a witness, officials said.

He and two others allegedly approached the 24-year-old protester on Monday with threats to kill her because she filed a complaint that resulted in the arrest of their friend, Garfield Leslie, police said.

Leslie, 19, was arrested for assault and was found with drugs on him, according to police.

NYPD officials said the woman filed the complaint after she and her friends were assaulted on Oct. 11 in the privately owned public space that's become the base for the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Leslie allegedly offered to sell the woman drugs and when she declined that and his amorous advances, he punched her and two friends who tried to help, the Daily News reported.

The suspects at large are all believed to be between 16 and 20 years old.

One man is 5 feet 5 inches tall and has a thick build. He was last seen wearing a brown hat with a white shirt that had the words "Stone Harbor" printed on the front.

The other is 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, black hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Googling this brings one back to this thread. Looks like another instance of brainwashed Pub Dupes repeating Murdoch/Moon/Fox/Pub BS.

If you weren't so ignorant and careless, you'd be ashamed of yourselves. Same goes with the "bomb threats, robberies, shytte stories, etc etc. Like your heroes' no compromise, "un-American" (TIME), destructive BS in congress, you are a bad excuse for a good citizen. Brainwashed know nothings...Pffffft! Oh, sorry.

i think Frankie here was Skull Raped a few times in the past....what the fuck are you talking about?....

Your post, assumes, that a rape occurred in the first place. No one was charged. And the source of this story is the New York Post, a publication, for those who live here, is about as entertaining as the National Enquirer..except not as filled with facts.

Typical far left psychotic bullshit; blame the messenger for bad news...

This scumbag would be the first to rail if something like this happened in a Tea Party rally. But then, these animals fit his far left agenda, so they are immune to accusations of criminal behavior - they're "noble" - since in his tiny brain, the means justify the ends.
