Just now I googled for mueller report. One of the top results is fox news, the other is nyt and lawfare. Whenever I google for deep state nonsense, google always gives me those nutty right wing sites.

Must be my computer. Yes, Fox is one of the top three. The other two were NYT and NBC. Below that were Twitter (left wing) a few links to CNN and a few more to NYT.

If I'm not mistaken Duckduckgo pulls all results directly from google but through proxy filters for pirvacy.

Searchconservative pulls them from Bing and through their own filters to exclude rabid communists sources like Rachael Maddow, CNN and NYT

And therein lies the problem. You aren't repudiating bias. You're embracing bias, and simply serving up a different flavor. By doing so you're validating the biases you claim to dislike in the first place. It makes as much sense as an activist complaining that the ice cream industry is making everyone fat, then offering the solution of eating grass flavored ice cream instead of chocolate. It's still ice cream. It's still going to make you fat. And your new search engine toy is still serving up a load of biased bullshit.

So we should ignore that search engine and stay with Google and put up with their biased bullshit?

I will use the search conservative for a while to see how it goes.

I love the idea.

Duck duck go is my current search engine and it’s ok. I like that they don’t track searches and I don’t get ad pop ups based on my searches.

I use duck duck when I'm looking at items for possible purchases. If I use Google, my Facebook wall and news sites are loaded with ads of the thing I was looking for online.

Perhaps one should use multiple engines when searching for something of importance, instead of happily choosing one bias over another

I just would like a search engine that posts results by popularity instead of political ideology. There have been times when I'm trying to find something that supports a conservative agenda, and Google can't find it at all. Then if I go to Bing or Duck Duck, it comes up on the first page.
