If I'm not mistaken Duckduckgo pulls all results directly from google but through proxy filters for pirvacy.

Searchconservative pulls them from Bing and through their own filters to exclude rabid communists sources like Rachael Maddow, CNN and NYT

And therein lies the problem. You aren't repudiating bias. You're embracing bias, and simply serving up a different flavor. By doing so you're validating the biases you claim to dislike in the first place. It makes as much sense as an activist complaining that the ice cream industry is making everyone fat, then offering the solution of eating grass flavored ice cream instead of chocolate. It's still ice cream. It's still going to make you fat. And your new search engine toy is still serving up a load of biased bullshit.

The difference is the site the OP is talking about EMBRACES it's bias, wears it like a loud suit.

Places like Google try to play the whole "fair" and "don't be evil" bullshit.

Honest bias is acceptable bias, in this case.

Hidden bias, or bias lied about is the real issue.

I've always seen "minority conservatives worse" as the real tell, with progressives. When someone goes outside the groupthink, they get really really angry.
