Why?

Shortly after my first-time on this site I discovered I could disable all scripts and still use everything just fine. Well everything relevant to posting threads and replies. Wanna do Gallery stuff you need to enable more.

Another frequent source of page load hangs is embedded images from sites off the main one. Some sigs have an image and all that has to be looked up, connected to, and loaded from. Usually it's near instantaneous, but sometimes it'll take a while and I note I'm hung up on some site I could give a crap about seeing the image until I block loading images from that site.

And other times, even if images are blocked and I see a bracketed IMG but no image, it'll still try and load from it until I block it again.

Just turn off viewing .sigs. It serves no purpose to see someone's stupid graphic over and over, and it slows down your viewing.

I use the NoScript addon to block javascript in general, but I whitelist this site, and I have no problems seeing everything.
