We had a state Senator that really knew how to grease the pig. he gave our money away like water. He seemed well respected. He was a democrat that even I might have voted for. Until I realized that something was rotten in what he was doing. I even wrote him a letter that if he kept doing what he was doing he was going to lose his election. He told my adversaries of the letter I wrote which was not kind to them.

Ends up that he loses the election and is now in jail. So I think the American people can make good choices when there are good choices to make. The man who replaced him doesn't seem to do that much.

Establishment politicians aren't losing control. They are just seeing large swaths of voters turn into apathetic former voters. Which is fine by them, since voting is just a charade anyway.

Take a look at NYC mayoral race if this isn't ringing true. Less than 24% voter turn out. When it gets down so low the tallies look questionable, they will simply stop reporting them and go about their business as usual. I guarantee it.
