Supreme Court strikes restrictive Texas abortion law.

The United States Supreme Count, in a 5-3 Decision has struck down the highly restrictive Texas Abortion Law that required doctors providing abortion services to privileges at hospital in order to perform those services.

The law ignored the fact that such privileges were not required for colonoscopies and other out patient treatment like skin cancer.

Several other states have enacted similar restrictive laws and now those states are going to have fabricate other lies to justify denying Women their Constitutionally Protected Rights.

RePugs claim they do not want the "Government In The Doctors Office" and "Do not want 'The Government' to make decisions", but continue to do both.

I like how the left has learned to take all of the good things that normally persuade 'conservatives' and apply to all of their crap. The tragic part is that the people being persuaded by this argument don't realize that the left really doesn't mean it.

So much for the Republicans' theory that their choices for the Supreme Court are all important--there are admittedly four conservatives on the court, and the judges did what they are supposed to do--make their decisions based on the law, not their politics.

Colonoscopies and skin cancer treatments don't compare to the legal murder of an unborn child. If something went wrong and the woman died, the quack would have two murders on his conscience.

Republicans want our entire lives controlled in the name of "freedom". Freedom to do what they want us to do.

LMAO Says the left loon that can't survive w/o the gummit controlling his every move.

Abortion is not going anywhere legally, the power structure enjoys the wedge. Same with guns. Why eliminate political issues you can use to divide the unsubstantial people.

Keeping the government out of the doctor's office and not wanting the government to make decisions or not wanting the government to decide medical means exactly that.

Passing laws that are the direct polar opposite of what you say proves your liars and hypocrites, which is nothing new.

Except of course there is no 'legal murder of an unborn child'.

If abortion was considered murder then of course abortion would be illegal.

Since abortion is not murder, then the court correctly recognized that Texas was trying to do exactly what you are saying- trying to outlaw abortion through onerous regulations that do not apply to more dangerous medical procedures.

Actually, abortion isn't in the Constitution at all, which by the 10th amendment means it's a State power, not a Federal Power. The Supreme Court is a rogue, criminal organization that just makes up law

Do democrats actually think that support for the baby killing abortion machine and making it easy for women to kill the unborn body inside them is an example of their concern for women's health? The biggest benefactor of abortion is liberal men who are absolved from their responsibilities at the stroke of a scalpel. It was a split vote but equally important was the unanimous vote that exonerated the former governor of Va..Gov. McDonald was a victim of the 3rd world Hussein administration's "justice dept" vendetta against republicans. McDonald accepted free meals and a couple of flights on private planes that amounted to less than 200k but the Clintons accepted millions while she was secretary/state in donations to the crooked foundation that her husband manages.

The law was directly intended to restrict access to abortion rather than further women's health. But regardless of how one feels about abortion (and I admit to being conflicted) Mississippi is one of the affected states, and our child welfare agency was nearly taken over by the Feds for failure to actually protect children in state custody, and is still hanging by a thread despite a state supreme court justice taking over the agency and the state pumping in millions.

In short, the states so adamant about "protecting fetuses" seem the least interest in protecting children.
