This has been a big embarrassment for Obama. If he can't handle a simple question from an average citizen, how will he handle something more difficult like, say, the country? I'm guessing the DNC will eventually determine that 'Joe the Plumber' is linked to Osama bin Laden and that Obama had to answer his question the way he did 'in the interest of national security.'

Actually I'm not registered anything at the moment. If I do ever register it will be probably as an independent.

For example: If I could, I'd be voting for the Republican Candidate running for mayor in my city.

I would agree that I am a Liberal (though not Socialist), however I disagree with the Democratic Party on certain things.

I'd bet most of us have owed the IRS and couldn't pay it right away. I know I have.

I think is wishful thinking on your part Mad. Obama has been pretty damn clear on his tax plans. If you make MORE than $250K a year, after expenses of running your business (which 98% of small business don't do) then you'll see a 3% tax increase on any money OVER that $250K. Obama wants to enact the same taxes that were in place under Clinton 39% for people making over 250K...

I'm sure you cons want this to be an issue but it's not. Not when Obama keeps talking about the middle class and the tax cut they will get.
