Satisfaction with country higher than any point during Obama presidency: Poll

If you only get your 'Information' from Democrat Fake News', you'd think Armageddon is at hand. But the reality is, Trump is delivering. Most Americans view the country as heading in a positive direction. Once folks quit Democrat Fake News, they quickly realize there's a lot of good things happening in the country.
He's doing no better or worse than Obama so far.
no he's doing better

the economy is going, jobs are coming back
We are now taken seriously in world affairs.....they don't love him like Obama, but they respect him much more.
and things are getting done

now lets get infrastructure including a border wall done!
Don't just say it ... show me.

Here's employment growth -- show me where the rate of growth has increased beyond what it was during the 7 years prior to Trump...

Look, the economy did well, we got the social media buble.....like the internet bubble of the 90s. Trump's policies are brining jobs back, and will keep the economy going. As long as we don't force lenders to lend to people who cant pay back their debts, we'll be fine.
That's all fine and I hope it comes true; but you said Trump is doing better. I showed you, as far as jobs, the rate of growth is exactly the same under Trump as it was under Obama during his last 7 years. So how is that better than Obama?

Under Obama, we had 83 consecutive months of job growth in the private sector. That too has continued under Trump during his first 16 months in office. So how is that better than Obama?

That statement right there is hilarious! Faun knows only too well that Trump is doing far better with the economy at this point than Obama did. It's not even a contest. But he can't say that because he and the rest of the progressives told us that Trump would be a DISASTER for the economy and now they don't know what to do because it didn't happen! "No better or worse than Obama" is about as good as any Trump hater will EVER say no matter how well Trump does!
Lying con tool, of course Trump is doing better "at this point."

"At this point" under Obama, we were just coming out of the worst recession in generations.

That you try to compare the economy which Obama inherited to the one Trump inherited, and then try [and fail] to compare them as presidents as a result, reveals what a lying sack of con tool you really are.

The fact of the matter is -- there is not one single economic indicator which is growing at a faster rate than what Trump inherited.

That's another progressive "myth" that is laughable! To say that we were out of the recession because the strict definition of a recovery was met belies the fact that for the people were living through the recession knew full well that it wasn't really over because jobs hadn't returned. Or have you forgotten that Barry's recovery was labeled a "jobless recovery"?

Larry Summers...Good news folks! The recession is over!

Sounds of cheering...

American citizen...So does that mean I can get a job now?

Obama spent 8 years telling us we couldn't do better and we were in a new normal...he talked the economy down every chance he got and he chased one business away after another he shut down entire industries in favor of unproven technologies with zero concern over human lives it affected and their quality of life ...Trump talks up the economy...he is an America lover...Obama was the opposite.....

The biggest take away....The dems and the GOP never Trumpers still haven't learned...they are still in the dark on why Trump won and are about to make the same mistakes they made in 2016....

Trump told us the unemployment numbers were all lies. Until he became prez. Then suddenly they are true !!!! And it’s cause of him !!

You cons are nothing but a bunch of liars.
Wow, you are a tard aren't you
the number is a lie, the underemployment number is the real one and it's going down.
creating mc jobs is not the same as the real jobs Trump has created
Thank God for his deregulation, tax cuts and trade wars.....he is now getting stuff done.....no more mooching off the USA.

You are doing it again ! Lies under obama , truth under Trump .

Truth is we still have the same wage issues . You just make of crap that trump has fixed that.

There was a recent poll of CEO's around the world on optimism. Obama's best score 33%, under Trump policies optimism FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER has already topped 50% with 52% reporting they were optimistic, nearly a 20% spread in Trump's favor vs Obama.

No wonder the MSM is unhinged with the latest immigration border media campaign...

Satisfaction with country higher than any point during Obama presidency: Poll

More Americans are satisfied with the country’s direction than at any point during the Obama presidency, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.

The survey found that 38 percent of the population is content with the way things are going — the highest rate since 39 percent of the country reported they were satisfied in September of 2005.

The satisfaction rate, which Gallup began tracking in 1979, is also back in line with the historical average of 37 percent.

And it’s the first time since 2005 that Gallup has recorded consecutive months with satisfaction above 35 percent. Last month, 37 percent of the country said they were content with the way things are going.

One’s satisfaction with the country largely depends on one’s political party, the poll found.
And yet Trump's popularity has barely ever risen above Obama's lowest point.

The poll claims a 3% margin of error, and you're creaming your panties over a 1% difference. Thank you for demonstrating why education matters.

The wages are not higher .

Obama saved us from a Great Depression . Trump is riding his wave.

He took us through great recession, and his cheering the economy with comments such as "you didn't build that", didn't help much.

Hilarious that Mitt Romney previously used nearly the same words that Obama used.

Wow...was that ever a stretch...how is that speech by Romney even remotely close to the Obama premise that citizens only succeed because of Big Government help?

What's really telling about that video clip by the way was how spot on Romney was when it came to Russia and how clueless Barack Obama was! Romney was mocked for his view on Russia. Fast forward four scant years later and suddenly "RUSSIA" is the biggest liberal boogie man there is! So did you want to apologize to Mitt now, R-Derp?

2020 hindsight ^^^. Putin was not the president during Obama's first term in office, the President then was Medvedev who was more liberal and sought to modernize Russia; Putin was President from 2000 to 2008, and served as PM during Medvedev's tenure. He was again elected President and began his current reign in 2012.

Romney's comments at the time represented the Neo Conservative feelings and those who brought us the Domino Theory. What say you about Trump's actions, notwithstanding his words, toward Putin's Russia?

As for my basic comment, how many businesses developed without power, water, sewage, and roads? That was my take on his comment, which may or may not have been his premise, but the fact cannot be disputed that taxpayers and local government created the space for business to flourish. That is not to say that business sense and hard work did not figure prominently into a successful enterprise.

Since infrastructure like water, sewage and roads are paid for by taxes PAID by those businesses...it's rather amusing to then turn around and tell businesses that they "didn't built that"! Of course they did. What Barry should have noted was that government wouldn't exist without someone paying for it...not the other way around. Just one more example of how he failed to grasp how our system REALLY works.

I never said the recovery was synonymous with the official end of the recession. What I said was there’s no reasonable way to compare the economies under Obama & Trump at this same point in their respective presidencies since one was handed the worst recession since the Great Depression; while the other was handed a strong economy, with full employment, record high stock market, near record breaking low black unemployment rate, stable inflation, and 83 consecutive months of private sector job growth.

q. From where did the money to pay taxes come from?

A. Consumers who buy their product or service and pay the sales tax (only five states have no sales tax); a business plan includes all overhead, or else it fails.

Let's not forget the taxpayer has few and fewer write off thanks to the tax fraud signed by Trump, and real estate taxes, fees and fines pay for police and fire protection to businesses and residents.

You think Obama "stood tall" in opposition to anyone, Wry? Sorry...I never saw that...I saw someone who drew red lines in the sand and then let others deal with problems. He's the President who made "leading from behind" his foreign policy stance.

The money to pay taxes comes from the Private Sector. Without the Private Sector...there is no Public Sector because there is no way to fund the Public Sector! When Obama said that "you didn't build that..." it simply underscored his lack of understanding of our economic system and explains why he struggled so mightily to create jobs and grow the economy.

Because when they tried that in 2005-2006, it dropped a nuclear bomb on the economy.

Amazing! Care to explain why the Fed is predicting another 4 rate hikes just this year to go along with the 4 that they had last year? How can the Trump economy possibly withstand all of those "nuclear bombs" being dropped on it when the Obama economy couldn't? Duh?

Hmmm … 2005 … that would have been Dubya.

That's not saying much then.
