Isaiah wrote of Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, calling him the "Son of the Morning"--i.e. "Lucifer"--that this king had fallen far from the heavens (or doing what was right and good).

Milton's Paradise Lost, and later Vondel's play, Lucifer took a misreading of Isaiah to mean a fallen angel, not King Nebuchadnezzar.

Satan (from the Hebrew Ha Satan) was The Tester of how firm is a person's resolve. We see this in the story of Job, where Ha Satan (The Tester) is testing Job's faith and loyalty to God. Like a prosecutor, he is considered an adversary (as he was in the story of Job).

Jesus considered Satan a "murderer from the start" because his testing/temptation of Adam and Eve brought death to mankind.

Sure they would care. Then they would ask, "Are you sure you don't want more in order to make a bigger point? You can never have enough Bibles or police flags to burn."

Have you ever been a salesman? If not, the point is to sell as much as possible. So they would care just not in the way that you are implying.

Religious stores typically have religious owners. Same with police supply stores having police advocates as owners.

I doubt they would want to sell these items to people looking to desecrate them.
