Because it wouldn’t be funny – there’s always a grain of truth in humor. Everyone knows Soros didn’t ‘turn in Jews’ (except perhaps for ignorant rightist hacks) and that Byrd is not representative of democrats today.

Unfortunately for the GOP, however, you do have mainstream politicians advocating discriminatory practices – Bachmann’s opposition to civil rights for gays and Cain’s willingness to violate the First Amendment and Civil Rights Act of 1964 with regard to Muslims are but two sad examples – here, now, today.
