Santorum On Zimmerman: Malicious Intent

Zimmerman had been arrested in 2005 on charges of resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer, according to court records.

Zimmerman had been the subject of earlier complaints by residents of the gated community in which he and Martin's family lived. At an emergency homeowner's association meeting earlier this month, one man was escorted out because he openly expressed his frustration because he had previously contacted the Sanford Police Department about Zimmerman approaching him and even coming to his home.

Zimmerman was also involved in a domestic dispute with his ex-fiance, Veronica Zauzo. Zauzo claimed Zimmerman was trolling her neighborhood to check on her. At her apartment, they spoke for about an hour when she asked him to leave. He asked for some photos and paperwork and she refused.
A pushing match ensued and her dog jumped up and bit him on the cheek, Zauzo claimed. Zimmerman, in a petition filed the next day, painted her as the aggressor, wanting him to stay the night.

Yet, Zimmerman had a permit to carry a concealed weapon. So we know he wasn't convicted of anything and is innocent of all charges of resisting arrest, battery on a law enforcement officer and any other form of violence including domestic disturbances.

He entered a pretrial diversion program; as for the Injunction, it was dismissed after HE asked for one also.

Santorum On Zimmerman: Malicious Intent

Santorum on Face The Nation: Calls shooting Heinous and says Zimmerman had malicious intent.

Obama said he had a message mainly to the parents of Treyvan, and it was the he'd look like...comment.

Who weighed in with politically before all the facts were known, the Democrat of the Christian Conservative Republican who weighed in on a man wanting to pull the chord on his comatose wife?

Look who's on the side of your arguments -- radical extremist wingnuts/moonbats, or pragmatic realists like Obama. :eusa_shhh:

What makes me laugh is seeing lefties quoting Santorum like he suddenly has cred. Santorum isn't even a good politician and he wants to be taken seriously on issues of law?

what lefty quoted Santorum like he has cred? :eusa_pray:

note: GOP Presidential candidate former Senator Rick Santorum prejudges Treyvan Martin case in Sanford, Florida

Some have, I saw in in another thread. I cannot remeber who said it but I also used the same line "like he suddenly has cred" I do know that it wasn't you.

Conservative Christians Unfit for Office | American Taliban | Rick Santorum

I thought Obama's remark was typical narcissism. "me me me me me my son me me me me."

that's because you're an obama deranged idiot.

and if he said what santorum did, you'd be criticizing that.

now run along.

wingnuts and freepers at others sites are saying things like "Just like the Boston Detective Crowley lynching for doing his job and stirring Black hatred our President once again has ignored any sort of assumption of innocence of an American citizen and declared him guilty for political gain." - but -- but -- but -- it is the right wing christian conservative candidate....

the right wing christian conservative candidate....Rick Santorum, went after a man's decision over a wife in a coma, he even had Congress meet to intervene on an issue so personal, so out of the scope of government, now we have Santorum saying a man who has shot somebody in self defense, no facts to the contrary, had malicious intent?

This man, Rick Santorum is unfit for the office of President. Republican candidate for President, Rick Santorum, has prejudged a man, a man who faces no charges of a crime, before all the evidence is in

shame!

Thank God he won't be president.

The President never prejudged Zimmerman, the GOP Reagan Conservative has prejudged Zimmerman as having had malicious intent

You are pathetic. Clearly Obama was saying to go after Zimmerman, not just to let the truth come out. Frankly it would have been a great chance to say if Zimmerman is guilty he needs to be held accountable, but the liberals need to STFU if it turns out that he was being threatened by the kid. He said nothing to calm anything down when he demanded endless investigation.

Obama did not, we do know Santoum said Zimmerman had malicious intent.

Jesus, christian conservative Republicans are unfit for political office if we want a free republic

I've agreed and you've been reasonable but now you are going off the rails. You cannot judge all Christian Conservative republicans by Rick Santorum. Santorum is an extremist.

President Obama may be the only candidate for President who has been asked to comment, who made a rational and fair remark. Obama addressed his would look like my son/child comment to the parents of Treyvan Martin.

this has got to bother lunatics on both ends of the political spectrum.

It was an inappropriate comment, focusing people on Treyvan's race.

Holy crap we have a late entry for dumbest remark of the week.

Zimmerman had been arrested...

go away.

this isn't about Zimmerman. A GOP candidate entered into the fray, and conservatives are trying to belittle that with deflecion about Obama's empathy, and you being the classic moron you are....

...play into their hands and attempt to hijack another thread and go off topic?

fuck off nitwit, drop dead. suicide is a viable option (I guess I won;t get your vote?)

Actually, for some reason a mod merged the Santorum thread with my thread on Zimmerman's freedom. Why? I don't know so that's probably why he's saying that.

If you were to believe the consensus on the Right, this situation, and situations like it, would have been better if Trayvon had also had a gun.

One reason I have always respected and admired President Reagan was his ability to refrain from injecting politics into every issue.

Rare quality these days.

And although he was a deeply devoted Christian, he held his faith close to his heart and not on his sleeve. One just "knew" he lived his faith.

I miss him.

It needs to be noted that this thread of which I started under a different title was merged with another one that actually doesn't seem to be about the same thing. Don't really care, just sayin'.

Rick Santorum | GOP Presidential candidate | Christian Conservative Standard Bearer | Reagan Conservative | Terry Schiavo | George Zimmerman | Malicious Intent

Did Obama comment on Zimmerman or the federal investigation? No.

Did Republican candidates for President comment? Yes on not only the actions of the man who says he used self defense, but the Reagan conservative called self defense, a heinous crime, and commented on the man's intent, calling it malicious.

no comparison

Obama hedged better, but Sharpton and Jackson didn't. Non-liberals in this thread are rightly criticizing Sentorum for that while liberals in this thread are ignoring the race whoring by Sharpton and Jackson and excusing Obama because he hedged his words.

This thread isn't about Sharpton and Jackson you imbecile.

I think Chris injected his post before the merge. I may be wrong.

Stupid comment.^^

Let me help you out. If more people were allowed to carry guns then people would have to assume that there is a good chance that the person they are angry at has a gun. More people carrying guns can lead to more people minding their manners.

Very different. Understand now?

Reagan was a deeply devoted Christian? Yeah, by words, not actions. I liked the man, and didn't like his politics. But his actions always spoke louder than his words.

Too bad you just beat her out of the running.

Should the attitude of the Right on this surprise anyone? Seriously?

We had a FUCKING VIDEO of Rodney King getting the crap beaten out of him for no good reason and the Right defended the cops every inch of the way.

there are flames like that in every thread. keep on topic and they wither away.

The thread I started was about Santorum's comments on a self defense argument. Santorum called the man's intent malicious. That may have gotten lost here.

Yes it is NOW read my OP wich doesn't match the title of the thread because a mod merged it with the Santorum thread.

Imbecile eh? Oops!

Zimmerman thought he was armed you idiot. That's central to his defense so far, to the extent he has any defense.
