There are problems with the idea of a National Sales Tax as a primary form or revenue for the federal government.

BUT getting rid of the IRS would be a HUGE benefit.

Both in economic and in constitutional terms.

That's not the point. You asked what other organizations Democrats can use to pressure their opposition.

It happens just about everywhere where 'liberals' have infected or have a lot of control over. There have been studies to show that conservatives often feel intimidated to express their views while 'liberals' do not. Why is that? If people feel intimidated then who is doing the intimidating? What if you say that you believe in God at work and your boss is some whacked out psuedo-communist bitch? You find out really quickly that your opinion will effect your job performance reviews and all sorts of crap like that.

Eliminating the IRS is a great idea but how are we going to collect income taxes. Those will still exist.

Republican yell and scream a lot, like The Donald, but they don't have any solutions. They don't have any replacements for all the agencies or programs that are to be eliminated.
