“The next multilateral naval exercises will take place in the northern part of the Indian Ocean in mid-February 2021,” Levan Dzhagaryan, the ambassador, told RIA in an interview.

The drills would rehearse search and rescue operations and ensuring the safety of shipping, he said.

I try to be balanced, as my fear of Chinas rise worried me the most when Biden won. To Joes credit, I believe one of your carriers (the Nimitz maybe?) is on the way to the South China Sea. Of course, right near the artificial land that the communists built, it is international waters, so they can whine and cry but the U.S need NOT back down (such a confrontation happened in 2015 and the U.S Navy calmly repeated their right to be there).

There are also disputed islands in the area for which Japan recently (just before Trump left office) made claims to, as well as the Philippines. China has long tried to bully it's way to control of territory there.

The question is, what is the U.S going to do about stifling Chinas economy? I think Nigeria has already embraced the Yuan as their reserve currency, doing away with the U.S dollar. THIS is the communists ultimate goal to quickly usurp and sink the U.S.

I think Bidens team is understanding now what's at stake as they haven't lifted any tariffs. It's up to Americans and it's allies (kudos to CSIS in Canada for publicly calling out China, making it more acceptable to do so among others) to apply pressure and remind Biden what is going on.

As it were, he might not have a choice, as U.S allies have predominantly maintained Trumps approach (I bet you Pompeo had a hand in some of this) to China, which is in many ways, going to ensure the U.S does the same, or, fracture more of it's allies.

So you seem to know he was personally responsible for there deaths. Well is the number of Americans troops who died when Bush mistakenly invaded Iraq because he thought they were responsible for 9/11 or Bin Laden was hiding in Iraq. Those number are far greater

I am not saying the Iranian guy was an angel but government backed assassination are not the answer. Trump could have just assonated the Iraq leader because as the Iranian leader he was fully aware of what the guy was doing with his blessing.
