I think it is pretty stupid to criticize either Bush or Obama for these two attempts. Neither was attempt was successful and there is no rational reason to react in a manner that makes it look like we are terrified.

I made my donation through Americares the next morning Ravi.
I lived through the 10-17-89 quake, very close to ground zero, so my response is different than most.

What was needed immediately, was bulldozers, construction equipment, helicopters, The Navy, like how they responded to Indonesia, after the title wave. From my position, from the position of anyone trapped, they are moving way too slow. Rain comes and there will be slides.

People need, shelter, food, water, now. that is not political.
