The judge is concerned that any delay in payment will give rudy a chance to hide his assets. His refusal to supply information during the trial was seen as an attempt to hide his assets, so there is no reason to believe he will be any more forthcoming now. Of course, he can contest the immediate payment order, but to do that, he will have to post a bond for the full amount. Poor rudy has screwed himself again.

Isn't politics a wonderful sector to be part of? Where else can you play games like this?
I have a feeling that Rudy will have the opportunity to appeal the decision on the amount.
Pretty much a standard procedure.

The entire Kangaroo Court hearing is a disgrace to justice.

Of course he can appeal the order. That requires he post a bond for the full amount. You didn't read the OP?

Weird how the left constantly tries to warp the law to suit their purposes.

The disgrace was rudy's behavior.
This little fast one ain't over till it's over. Righteous men and women don't rule when leftist kingpins on high can do so much for their careers or destroy them if they don't cooperate. As Casey Stengel once said, "It ain't over till it's over!"

Yup, and regardless of what the commie judge wants, RG can't be made to pay while the case is under appeal.
