Romney to Reid: Put up or Shut Up

was Romney's trip to the Olympics a business expense to write off their Horse ???

Maybe, but you paid the entire bill for Michelle and her entourage for four days at the Olympics and that is probably a lot more than Romney makes. I wonder if Michelle managed to keep her hands off of the Queen this time.

Funny how all of us paying taxes to support the obamaturds vacations but Romney conducting business is wrong. Darn socialists.

VERY smart move by Mitt...........

Associated Press

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney declared Friday that he has “paid taxes every year — and a lot of taxes” as he rejected an anonymous claim that he hadn’t paid taxes for a decade on his vast personal wealth.

He has just made a serious move against Reid. He has stated unequivocally that he has paid taxes EVERY year. If Harry wishes to continue with this line of attack, he could be opening himself up to a libel/slander suit unless he's got reliable proof that Romney has now lied. I'll put my money on Mitt.

My bet is that Reid will now fade into the woodwork where he belongs.

oh ... they do pay some Taxes, pittance just to keep IRS at bey from an Audit and that is what Romney was bragging about to the investors - by paying so little he was paying none at all - Haaaa He Ha ...

is it after Tampa or before Romney suddenly has a special calling from God for Mormon Church work in Africa ???

A "pittance"? Are you out of your fucking mind? The IRS doesn't "accept a pittance to avoid audit". They accept WHAT YOU OWE, and what Mitt Romney routinely owes in taxes is no "pittance". How much do YOU pay in taxes every year, with your airy dismissal of Romney's taxes as "a pittance"?

And if you don't tell me, I guess we can assume you're "hiding something", since anyone who demands to know all about your taxes OBVIOUSLY has a right to the information, according to you.

Mitt Romney Admits He's Been Audited By The IRS

The mystery of what could be in Mitt Romney's still unreleased-tax returns deepened once more this weekend, when the Republican presidential hopeful let slip that he has been audited "from time to time" by the IRS.

Cecilie1200: The IRS doesn't "accept a pittance to avoid audit".

no, and when someone tries ...

Romney has admitted to being audited ... proves already he works at cutting corners on his responsibilities.

and he is the one trying to rewrite the tax code - how about disclosure for that !!!

Way to miss the point, dumbass.

The IRS does NOT let you get away with tossing them "a pittance". You pay what you owe. They certainly do not accept "a pittance to avoid an audit", which sounds suspiciously like you're accusing the IRS of taking bribes to look the other way.

Lots of people get audited every year. Doesn't mean much. The more money you have, the more likely it is. The question is, did the IRS find any evidence of wrongdoing?

Spoken like someone who doesn't pay taxes. Good job, loser.

Beside the point and irrelevant.

Show us the records!

Why? They're none of your fucking business. Do you work for the IRS? No? Then get a REAL issue.

They are my fucking business. The man wants to be president, and I have a right to know if there's any conflicts of interest that we should know about.

They are NOT your fucking business. If they were your fucking business, the laws regarding running for President would require the candidates to release their tax returns to the general public, rather than what they ACTUALLY require, which is to file forms with Congress. Are you a member of Congress? No? Then no one has to show you shit.

And you wouldn't vote for him under any circumstances, so spare me this "I need to know about conflicts of interest", as though you're doing some decision-making here. You're pissed that he won't give you fodder for a smear campaign and indulge your towering sense of entitlement.

Nothing is your fucking business Dickless...you still haven't proven you don't beat your wife...my source says you do.

****.

Let's explore the reasons why Mitt Romney might choose not to make his private, personal financial information available to the general public (aside from "He must have committed felonies!" argument so ridiculously put forward by the liberals).

The main reason I can see would be that his political opponent at the moment is Barack Obama, who has made his entire career based on his ability to pry into people's private lives and misconstrue, smear, and slander.

Consider his run for the Senate.

First, his opponent in the Democrat primary, Blair Hull, had his sealed divorce records leaked to the public a month before the primary, and was forced by the resultant media hysteria - later admitted to having been pushed by David Axelrod and the Obama campaign - to unseal the records. He got to spend the rest of the primary campaign talking about his divorce instead of the issues.

Next, lo and behold! His Republican opponent in the general election, Jack Ryan, found the court records of his custody battle with his ex-wife being unsealed by the judge under pressure from the Axelrod-motivated Chicago Tribune. Before you could whistle "Dixie", every media outlet in the country was fraudulently claiming that Ryan had tried to make his wife engage in group sex, despite the fact that the records said nothing of the sort.

When Obama decided to run for President, sure enough, McCain and Palin both found their marriages being investigated, and when the Obama campaign couldn't find anything to make hay with, they just went out and spread rumors that McCain had had an affair.

Fast forward to this election, where we find operatives in Chicago spreading sexual harassment claims about Herman Cain to make him drop out of the primary.

Since Mitt Romney has no divorce records and there's no chance in Hell of making sexual rumors stick to him, the Obama campaign needs to dig around in some other aspect of his personal life, and here we are, with Obama again trying to force his way into someone's private legal documents.

I think if I were Mitt Romney, I'd go with, "I fulfilled my legal obligations, and I've released the traditional minimum records, and fuck you if you want more" as well. He's obviously learned from past uses of Obama's signature move.

Riiight. Anyone who dares to object to an invasion of privacy is OBVIOUSLY only doing so because they're hiding felonies. Funny, coming from the party that's always screaming, "Right to privacy!" I guess that only applies to leftists, huh?

What's even funnier is that the left, which is all gung-ho to get the IRS involved in the nation's healthcare, is telling us they don't even trust them to monitor Mitt Romney's tax returns.

Unless you dipshits can show us evidence that the IRS has EVER had a problem with ANY of Mitt's tax filings, either shut the fuck up or tell us why you think an agency you've just called incompetent should take on new responsibilities.

Personally I hope he never releases them. This isn't gong away.

It wouldn't't go away if he did release them, the left would lie about and distort the documents all the way to election day.

True that. The Left would trip all over themselves trying to see what kind of a hardon they can get over Romney's tax returns.
