The owner of an Iowa cafe which Mitt Romney visited on Friday say the Republican presidential candidate's staff were "arrogant" and disrespectful to her establishment, CNN affiliate KPTM reported.

Romney called owner Dianne Bauer of the Council Bluffs Main Street Cafe to offer an apology, the report said.

A Romney campaign source told CNN they had "assured the Bauers that the campaign would take responsibility for any remaining issues."

Isnt it interesting. Romney wasnt personally responsible and it's still not clear whether it was his campaign staff that did anything. Just that this happened after an event. Yet, here he is taking full responsibility for it.

That's a breath of fresh air after the past four years of complaints about how the problem has been "inherited" or that it's the "Republicans' fault".

That is what a leader does. And that's one of a number of reasons Romney is going to beat Obama.

White House Forgets to Pay Father’s Day Lunch Tab

Amid the bustle of President Obama’s surprise stop for barbecue Wednesday the White House apparently overlooked one key detail: the bill.

Celebrating Father’s Day early, the president had lunch with two service members and two local barbers at Kenny’s BBQ on Capitol Hill.

As the group chatted about fatherhood, the president enjoyed a steaming plate of pork ribs with hot sauce, collard greens, red beans and rice and cornbread.

The bill for the president and his four guests was $55.58, but was left unpaid at the point of sale, according to pool reports.

The White House corrected the oversight and settled up the tab by the end of the business day.
