I was fortunate to have seen his 2nd U.S. performance on his 1st U.S. tour at Carnegie Hall in my mid-teens. One of the top 3 concerts I ever saw.

I saw him in San Francisco in the early 1990. I know he was getting up in years, but this really got me upset today

The ironic thing is that I just read a book two days ago entitled "African-American Near Death Experiences" by Dr. Lloyd Ruby that mentioned David Bowie. Now he's dead!

I will miss Ziggy, the Thin White Duke.

I disagree. His was a life well lived even if cut a bit short. If anything a celebration of it is proper.

Never cared for his music, but bummer he died.
