Hate Crime in America, by the Numbers

MORE HATE CRIMES BY THE RIGHT WING HATE GROUP THEY CALL A PARTY
Last year’s murders at the hands of right-wing extremists reflect an ongoing trend. ADL’s Center on Extremism, which has aggregated data going back to 1970, shows that over the last decade, a total of 73.3 percent of all extremist-related fatalities can be linked to domestic right-wing extremists, while 23.4 percent can be attributed to Islamic extremists. The remaining 3.2 percent were carried out by extremists who did not fall into either category. That means 3.2% or less where left wing hate groups.

ADL...

ROFLMFAO!!

Stop a minute.. Collect your dignity and think.. What was the fairly recent largest mass casualty attack on US soil. LasVegas?? What was the "at least one Right wing connection there?

That phrase is a cop-out to any rational mathematical analysis.. Like saying you have at least one connection to some felon or rapist...

The Southern Poverty Law Center is full of shit, you know.

A couple of years ago, I examined some of the entries they had listed as "hate groups". They had legit religious groups including islamic, they had restaurants with 'offensive" signs in their window, and other entries where there is no proof that a group even exists at all. Single individuals who wrote "hateful" letters to the editor, and said they were an "organization".

The SPLC may be treated as "authoritative" but only by libs who don't give a shit about facts

The SPLC is a hate group... Fact....

Not in the least an objective source on the topic...

SPLC a hate group Fact is that fake news

The fact is SPLC is one of many organizations that put a lot on hate groups

They use the legal system to fight injustice

Hate crimes, children rights, economic justice, immigrants rights, LJBT rights, and criminal justice reform

It is a dirty job but somebody has to do it because there are many who just don't care and someone has to

Hmm. Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas shooter in Oct 2017, was heard expressing conspiratorial, anti-government beliefs characteristic of the far right.

New documents suggest Las Vegas shooter was conspiracy theorist – what we know

He was a gun nut who tried to buy an auto sear and a conspiracy theory nut who recently whined about FEMA prisons. Shortly before the shooting, he was heard ranting about Ruby Ridge. All of that is standard hard right nutjob fare.

There are more members of the Jedi Religion in the United States than in all the supposed Alt Right groups the OP is promoting.

Just sayin'.

The SPLC is a sham organization filled with bigotry and sexism...run for the benefit of its incredibly overpaid management.

On March 14, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the left-liberal civil rights nonprofit group known for its conspicuous wealth and ever-expanding lists of right-wing “hate” figures and organizations, abruptly fired 82-year-old Morris Dees. Dees, an Alabama lawyer, is the man who founded the SPLC in Montgomery in 1971 and built it into a fundraising powerhouse with assets approaching $500 million. Not long after his departure, President Richard Cohen and legal director Rhonda Brownstein, both of whom have been at the center since 1986, resigned.

The SPLC hasn't said much about the three departures, especially that of Dees, whose profile, though not photos, it scrubbed from its website. News media reported allegations of sexual harassment and racial and gender discrimination that had circulated on in-house emails.
