All that they've said is what they wouldnt do. I was listening to Rush and someone asked him to back a canidate for 2012. Of course he wouldnt and said that this is not about who the Repubs nominate because he will back them, whoever it is. What he did say was that he would choose anyone but Obama.

1) How can he back a candidate when there aren't any yet?
2) Does the latter surprise you?

No one republican takes any position, they only take counter-positions. When the republicans did take a stand last time was when they introduced their own health care reform and the CBO diarrhea'd all over it. Since then they've been reluctant to go in on anything with the exception of spending cuts...but they want more an more.

Excuse me. The Democrat controlled house failed to pass a budget. they had at least 6 months to do so. The new Republican controlled House passed the budget in less than three months. The Democrat controlled Senate has shut it down and is promising to shut down the federal Government.

Do some research. They actually had a plan and posted it. They were good ideas that would have opened the market greatly. My objection was that they had never followed up before on any of those ideas so to me there was a credibility gap. One which again they aren't following up on and making those proposals in the house.

BTW, while Obama and gang were saying the Republicans didn't have a plan and the media was asking for their plan, the Democratic plan linked to it. They attacked it as not being socialist, but the media enforced, "where's your plan you don't have one" lie was working and the media picked it up and pounded it so they didn't address it that way in the media.

The media in this country is so brain dead liberal. But with your political activism I'm at a loss as to how you never realized they had one. I'm sure Republicans at the time on this board or whatever boards you posted on were referring to their plan and that the media was ignoring it and yet you continue to repeat this lie. You like socialism over free markets, fine. Argue that, but stop repeating the lie they didn't have one.

Second, you cannot extrapolate from the fact that he won't endorse someone who isn't running (no one is running at this point) to say "Republicans won't support anything."
