No matter what, they need to pass it, and then do what the Democrats did, and that was to fix it along and along until get it running right according to their ideology or thinking. This is the same spot the Republicans find themselves in, so they have precedent to go on in this respect, but do they have the same courage that the Democrats had in passing a bill or not ?????? It's time to man up, and quit being the fools in front of the Democrats already. Nothing wrong with a work in progress, because that's exactly what Obamacare was.

Is everyone tired of throwing money down a black hole yet ? I mean that is exactly what we got with Obummer care & other vast government waste. Think about the millions that were wasted in the website roll out for just one example, and what a flippin debacle that was. Here we have people who are entering their elderly ages of 55 years old and above, and this is the age where hundreds of thousands need to move into semi-retirement because their parents are in their late seventies and eighties, and they need assistance from a family member, but that member (although had worked all their lives), can't semi-retire in order to help that elderly member out, because the claim is that the money isn't there, and because of this excuse the retirement age has to be moved up in order to keep the system from going broke ???? You have to be kidding me right, because here we sit watching the extreme waste in all of this, and wondering how in the heck do they keep saying that we are broke ????? What kind of scam is all this bullcrap, that Americans keep getting screwed over like we all are by our own government ?????? Corruption is out of control in this nation, and the people are tired of it... Healthcare has ended up a black hole that keeps sucking all our money into it, and then we end up getting no value out of any of it. Sad situation.

The problem is that reublicans know that this plan is shit, and that it would be easier and better for the American people to improve the ACA. Which could have been happenening for years now if not for the constant republican sabotage.
. After the lies that were told of that plan ?? How can we trust any of the liars who created such a screw job as that turned out to be ??

Trump-Care as drafted is too disruptive to the insurance markets.

It would cause so much hardship and confusion that it would sweep the GOP out of office in 2018 and Trump out of office in 2020.

It is a complete failure and the GOP needs to let it die.

ACA works. It is expensive but it works.
. Works for who ??? How many are paying the dam penalty, and have no insurance because of it ? Millions of people's spouses are uninsured because one works getting employer coverage, but they can't afford to add their loved ones onto their plans (way to expensive), and then if either spouses want to get coverage, he or she has to opt for the ACA, but then the husband or wife seeking coverage for the other ends up making to much money, and therefore causing the ACA coverage to be to expensive, and this then causes the couple to opt for the penalty instead of having coverage at all on their loved one. Millions are doing this, and therefore either paying double or triple for coverage (carrying two policies, one at work and the ACA), or having only one covered while the government steals from the couple in the form of a penalty that ends up taking around $600 to $800.00 dollars for the year in refundable taxes from the couple when they do their taxes. So you are for the government robbing these couples just so the so called poor can get basically free healthcare coverage off of the one person working in the marriage, and otherwise as these married couples get hammered big time in it all eh ? No one likes getting their money stolen from them by the government like this, and it is going to end.

Man, it was too expensive before aca to add spouse and kids on to a group sponsored plan. You must be a youngster.

. Yep, and the dam ACA was suppose to fix all the problems, but we see what happened. We got lied to, and we got screwed.

How did you get lied to on group health? Rates on groups were going up anywhere between 10-50% before obamacare. It was a trend and why? Because group's took sick people for many years before Obama was even a senator.

You can keep your doctor? Well provider networks have changed every year for 20 years or more, not uncommon for a provider to be in network on year and out the next.

It was set up with risk corridor's, the gov would have paid the insurance companies for cat loses, repugs stripped most of the risk corridor money.

Penalty was demanded to be put into the law by insurance companies, they can't take everyone that is sick and not take anyone healthy to offset. The penalty was not high enough, should have been the cost of what a health insurance premium would have been for that age.

United Health and Humana had bad attitude's from the beginning and only tried it in a few state's and low balled like they always do and took a beating so their assumption was the whole goddamn law was bad. Most blues made money and lots of it.

Now I would agree most of the mandates should go and you pay your own way on them.

Oh rates would have gone up but not as much if repub congress didn't screw the insurance companies on the risk corridors.

This is what happens when you don't sit down with constituents before crafting legislation. The same with Obamacare. Propose legislation with little input from anyone, then demand it be voted for, with the promise that we'll explain it and/or fix it later.

I'm quite pleased with the outcome so far. By ordering the IRS not to enforce the mandate, Trump has at least stripped ACA of it's most egregious offense.

As far as the Ryan's bill, it was more of the same crap rebranded. The Republicans were right to reject it. If the Democrats had rejected ACA in the first place, if Obama had vetoed it, recognizing that such a fundamental change to society needs more than slim majority support, maybe their second attempt would have fared better.

Well you would expect that these people were smart enough to be at the top of the heep, and that they just didn't get there by being as simple minded as you make them out to be, but then again you might just be right.. lol

God forbid they improve it

I have been trying to tell a few of you the executive order meant nothing, the individual mandate can only be changed by congress and it was in the bill to be eliminated retro to 12/31/15, but they did not vote on it so you are stuck with the individual mandate and will still be penalized for going without unless you can file an exemption.

Why do you keep taking this O/P's bait ??

ACA works.

It is expensive but it works.

That's immaterial. Despite the ACOTUS, it's an illegal, immoral and disgusting piece of legislation that needs to be done away with, permanently.
So I get that you don't know anything about gun responsibility from another thread.

Now I get that you don't understand anything about law either.

You should have gone to law school.

But there is probably no way you could ever have gotten in.

So when you play lawyer you sound like a child or a fool.
