Here is a classic example.....lefty democrats say Republicans don't want to spend money to help the poor....yes that is correct...if the government is the one doing it...why...because politicians use any money we give them to empower themselves, they waste it, they steal it...and then brag at how noble they or their intentions were.....and say Republicans don't want to help the poor......

Your tax dollars at work NY spends 28M to create 76 jobs Hot Air

You’ve seen Andrew Cuomo’s TV commercials, the ones that say, “The new New York is open. Open to innovation. Open to ambition. Open to bold ideas.” The spot is promoting the Start-Up NY program.

Now the results are starting to come in: 76 jobs so far.

In the entire state. From a program that has spent $28 million advertising its own existence.

That’s $368,000 per job.

Start-Up NY sounds great on its face. It’s a tax cut. Who could argue with that? The problem is that it’s a very, very narrow tax cut. It’s only for certain kinds of businesses that do certain kinds of things in certain areas of the state. Surprise: It’s had very narrow effects.

Not surprising. The tax cut is for a decade and then it goes up to customary confiscatory rates. Business owners are typically thinking much further into the future. They also don't want to deal with New York's insane environmental laws which rival Califoria's EPA. No smart business owner wants to move to New York.

Add in the tax breaks and the costs per job for the State are even higher. The dems will never admit it.

They claim good intentions, but what they want is more businesses there so they can steal from them down the road. They need those tax payers to keep their dependents taken care of. Libs see deep pockets and they will say anything to get their hands on that money. They don't ever feel guilty taking from those who have money because they don't believe anyone should have that much anyway, well, except themselves.

The Dems strive to make people comfortable in poverty. It doesn't really help them improve. It just helps them enough to survive and there are always promises of more, more, more. They do just enough to give the illusion that they care and people will keep voting for them because they believe the promises of more freebies.

When the Republicans suggest that people would be so much better off if they took matters in their own hands, the left has a shit fit. When people find it in themselves to actually try, they might succeed. If they do that, they realize that they've been lied to and denied themselves a better life while waiting endlessly for some liberal to give them one. Even being in the low middle class is so much better than being a government dependent. Liberals know that people who work to make a living aren't crazy about government taking so much of their earnings. They tend not to vote for liberals, who are incredibly generous with other peoples' money.

Too bad republicans don't hate ridiculous lies like the one quoted above.
YOu mean like the lies you espouse constantly that Republican hate X because you disagree with their solutions?

You can give them intent in your own mind, but when you wish to assign intent to people outside of your mind, don't be surprised when we point at you and laugh.

On title alone I will say, "Then why do they profile everyone receiving welfare as a lazy person". I know a lot of this is due to idiotic media like Fox News.

So Republicans have a plan, without government involvement, to maintain the same levels of assistance we now give to the poor?
Cut taxes and let private enterprise do it. Worked well in the 19thC because private charities are far more efficient.
That of course will outrage the loafers, gold brickers, and frauds so they'll claim people were starving in the streets.

The 19th century? You think being poor was a picnic in the 19th century?

I;m sorry you are sad. But if you knew something--anything--it would make your posts sound more intelligent.

I routinely put you in your place. You aren't even a challenge.

Of course that's it. But you can't expect the truth from the Democrat party and their followers

They don't care about the poor. they are just USED as pawns just like everyone else in their BOOK/manual of dirty lowdown politics

what else do they have or ever had to run on? they gave the commie Obama a chance and ended kicking his party out of control of congress because of his Radical/tyarnts in his administation and his destructive policies.... like putting a monster government Entitlement on our backs called, OscamCare

SMEARS/LIES/DISHONESTY...anything to win for it's all about party over country for them
